So, we created web and mobile SDKs for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Each FIFA World Cup has its own design guidelines. As a rule, this is a fairly large list of documents, the number of rules and color systems for all areas of design
To make things easier for our customers, we process this information ourselves, simplify it and create our own guidelines document. The customer only has to choose the appropriate color scheme from several ones
From all the variety of options offered in 2022, for a start, I chose 5 basic color sets. For the selected set, the customer chose 1 of the 4 options for the accent color that was as close as possible to the customer's brand
In order for the customer to understand how the widgets with the selected color scheme would look like, we attached examples of how the selected option would look for both light and dark options
For the first time we proposed such a color selection case when working for FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. The customers were very pleased with the ease of choosing the colors. Therefore, in 2022, we also revised and created our own version of a simpler guideline document adapted to our products.
